Lagniappe Birmans

In the fall of 1980, I attended my first cat show.  It was there I saw my first Birman and it was indeed love at first site.  In the spring of 1981 we brought home an older blue point female, Dusty.  Within the year, we added Encore to our family.  Dusty produced two litters for us, both C-sections, and it was decided that she would be spayed.  Encore was never bred.  Although it was my desire to breed and show Birmans at that time, family commitments delayed that dream.  We lost both Dusty and Encore within a few months of each other at 17 1/2 and 16 1/2 years of age. Although we grieved deeply for our loss, we knew that our life was incomplete without a Birman to love.  With our daughters grown and on their own, it was time to fulfill the dream of actively breeding and showing this wonderful breed!  It is our desire to breed Birman cats that are healthy and long-lived with lovely type and temperament.  We are proud of our show cats, but what truly thrills us the most is hearing stories from those who have acquired kittens from us and the obvious love they have for their charges.  Please feel free to check out our website.  We will be happy to answer any questions you may have regarding the wonderful Birman!
